SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR (ERV) - 1/M201 1. EACH ERV SHALL HAVE A MICROPROCESSOR -BASED CONTROLLER WHICH SHALL MONITOR AND CONTROL THE UNIT IN A STAND-ALONE MODE OR AS DIRECTED BY THE BAS. THE ERV SHALL OPERATE IN OCCUPIED AND UNOCCUPIED MODE ACCORDING TO BAS SCHEDULING. OCCUPIED OVERRIDE ACTIVATED AT A HEAT PUMP THERMOSTAT SHALL INITIATE THE ERV OCCUPIED MODE FOR DURATION OF 2 HOURS. THE ERVS SHALL OPERATE IN OCCUPIED MODE CONTINUOUSLY UNLESS REQUESTED BY THE OWNER. 2. OCCUPIED MODE: THE SUPPLY AND EXHAUST FANS SHALL START, AND THE OUTSIDE AIR AND EXHAUST AIR DAMPERS SHALL OPEN. 3. ENTHALPY NEEL ECONOMIZER: THE ENTHALPY WHEEL SHALL BE LOCKED OUT WHEN THE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 55' AND 75' DB. 4. UNOCCUPIED MODE: WHEN THE BAS INMATES THE UNOCCUPIED MODE, THE UNIT SHALL TURN OFF AND CLOSE ITS OUTSIDE AND EXHAUST AIR DAMPERS. 5. SYSTEM GRAPHIC DISPLAY: a. ERV ON/OFF OVERRIDE SWITCH. b. OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY. c. EXHAUST AIR TEMPERATURES, ENTERING AND LEAVING. d. EXHAUST AIR RELATIVE HUMIDITY, ENTERING AND LEAVING. e. FAN STATUS, SUPPLY AND EXHAUST. HEAT PUMPS (GSHP) - 2/M20113/M20114/M201 1. EACH HEAT PUMP SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH ITS OWN COMMUNICATING MPC, SEE THE HEAT PUMP SPECIFICATION FOR MORE DESCRIPTION. THE BAS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNICATING WITH THAT MPC AND PROVIDING STATUS AND DIAGNOSTICS OF THE UNIT TO THE OPERATOR. 2. ALL SPACE TEMPERATURE SENSORS SHALL HAVE TIMED OVERRIDE BUTTONS. OCCUPANT INITIATED OVERRIDE SHALL BE LIMITED TO 2 HOURS MAXIMUM. THE HEAT PUMPS SERVING ANIMAL AREAS SHALL OPERATE IN OCCUPIED MODE CONTINUOUSLY UNLESS REQUESTED BY THE OWNER. 3. SOME OF THE HP'S SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH REHEAT TO PROVIDE DEHUMIDIFICATION. REFER TO THE MECHANICAL SCHEDULES AND DRAWINGS. THE HEAT PUMP CONTROLLER SHALL INITIATE THE DEHUMIDIFICATION MODE WHEN THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY SET POINT OF 50% IS EXCEEDED AND THE TEMPERATURE SET POINT IS SATISFIED. 4. OCCUPIED MODE: WHEN THE SYSTEM IS CONTROLLED TO THE OCCUPIED MODE, ALL UNIT FUNCTIONS SHALL BE ENABLED. THE SYSTEM SHALL OPERATE IN SPACE TEMPERATURE CONTROL MODE, a. UNITS WITH DUCTED VENTILATION AIR: THE UNIT SUPPLY FAN SHALL RUN CONTINUOUSLY. b. GSHP-3: THE ELECTRIC DUCT HEATER SHALL MODULATE TO MAINTAIN DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE DOWNSTREAM OF HEATER OF DRY BULB SET POINT OF 66" F DIRECTLY DOWNSTREAM OF THE HEATER. HEATER SHALL BE ENABLED WHEN THE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE IS BELOW 50 DEGREES. c. UNITS WITHOUT DUCTED VENTILATION AIR: THE UNIT SUPPLY FAN SHALL CYCLE AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN OCCUPIED SET POINTS. 5. UNOCCUPIED MODE: THE SUPPLY FAN SHALL CYCLE WITH THE COMPRESSOR IN HEATING OR COOLING AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN UNOCCUPIED HEATING AND COOLING SET POINTS. 6. ISOLATION VALVE: THE LEAVING WATER ISOLATION VALVE SHALL OPEN QUICKLY WHENEVER THE COMPRESSOR IS COMMANDED TO ENERGIZE, AND CLOSE SLOWLY WHEN THE COMPRESSOR IS DE -ENERGIZED. 7. IF CONDENSATE BEGINS TO BUILD UP IN THE CONDENSATE PAN, THE WATER DETECTION DEVICE SHALL DISABLE THE UNIT AND SEND AN ALARM TO THE BAS. 8. SYSTEM GRAPHIC DISPLAY: a. OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY. b. OCCUPIED/ UNOCCUPIED STATUS. c. OCCUPANCY OVERRIDE STATUS. d. SPACE TEMPERATURE AND SET POINT. e.
