i General Project Notes
1, Contractor shall become fully acquainted with the conditions of the contract, local
conditions relating to location, accessibility and general character of the construction
site and local labor conditions so that the contractor understands the nature, extent,
and any difficulties and restrictions related to the execution of the work.
2. Conti -actor shall perform work in accordance with applicable federal, state and
local governing ordinances, codes and regulations.
3. Contractor shall ensure ft-,lat all materials are in compliance with the plans and
specifications.
4. Where a detail is shown for one condition, it shall apply for all like or similar
conditions even though not specifically marked on the contract documents.
5. Interior dimensions for drywall partitions shown on floor plans are from face of
stud to face of stud or to center line of column.
6. interior dimensions for CIVIL) walls shown on floor plans are from face of CIVIL) to
face of CMU or to center line of column.
7. Contractor to coordinate location of and provide access panels as required for
mechanical and electrical systems,
8. All work shown on the architectural section of these contract documents shall be
coordinated with all other trades.

Architect retains all common law, statutory and other reserved rights, in addition to
the copyright on this drawing. Unauthorized reproduction or use of this drawing is
prohibited, including derivative works.
10. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS, The Contractor shall take field measurements
and verify field conditions and shall carefully compare such field measurements and
conditions and other information known, to the Contractor with the Contract
Documents before commencing activities; Contractor shall carefully study and
compare the Contract Documents with each other and with information furnished by,
the Owner and shall at once report to the Architect errors, inconsistencies or
omissions discovered. If the Contractor performs any construction activity knowing it
involves a recognized error, inconsistency or omission in the Contract Documents
without such notice to the Architect, the Contractor shall assume appropriate
responsibility for such performance and shall bear an appropriate amount of the
;3ftflbutable cost,
11. The intent ol the Contract Documents is to include all items necessary for the
proper execution and completion of the Work by the Contractor. The Contract
Documents are complementary, and what is required by one shall be as binding as
if required by all; performance by the-Contiactor shall be required only to the extent
consistent with the Contract Documents and reasonably inferable from them as
being necessary to produce the intended results. In case of conflicting requirements,
the more stringent requirements shall apply, without change to Contract Sum or
Time.
12. Organization of the Specifications into divisions, sections and articles, and
arrangement of Drawings shall not control the Contractor in dividing the Work
among Subcontractors or in establishing the extent of Work to be performed by any
trade.
13. All fire-resistant construction shall be constructed in accordance with applicable
UL designs or, where no design is indicated, in accordance with applicable
provisions of the NC13C, including openings, penetrations and supports.
