Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith are 5 sets of signed and sealed plans dated 9/1/11 for the renovations to the
lower level of the admissions Building at Lenoir Rhyne University. These plans should respond to the any
concerns expressed during a previous safety inspection.
We believe we have met the spirit of the Accessibility Code as expressed in Chapter 11 of the NC Building
Code and ANSI. Using Disproportionality we calculate as follows: Owners estimated cost of
construction, $10,000. Estimated cost of new handicapped accessible ramp is $2400 which exceeds the
20% required by disproportionality.
I believe we have addressed all the concerns which came up during safety inspection. If you have
