This letter is to request a Partial Certificate of Compliance be granted for the Office
Area ONLY for the Turbocoating Corp portion of the Catawba Industrial Commons
building located at 1928 Main Ave SE, Hickory, NC 28602. This is to facilitate the
continuation of the start up of Turbocoating Corp operations. It is understood that a
final full Certificate of Occupancy will be granted upon completion and successful
inspection of the permit- required work currently underway, as well as any other
required safety and building inspections. It is also understood that the granting of
the Partial Certificate of Compliance does not allow for occupancy of the
Manufacturing or Warehouse areas by Turbocoating Corp employees. Certain
Turbocoating Corp. employees, however, do have specific job functions and
responsibilities, especially during the start -up phase, that requires their presence in
the aforementioned areas and, as such, will be present in those areas at times in
order to ensure the company becomes operational in a safe, timely and fiscally -
prudent manner.
Additionally, Turbocoating Corp intends to install a non - required fire alarm system.
At the time that inspection of this system is required, and if deemed necessary by
the inspector, Turbocoating Corp will provide all labor to move any furniture and /or
equipment at the request and direction of the inspector in order to adequately
inspect the fire alarm system and components.
