When the contractor for this project comes to get his permits, we will issue him "one" Mec permit for a minimum fee that will cover both water heaters. (Being that there is no pressure test and very little for anyone to look at on this type inspection, we will just combine them together under one permit.) Also, there is no electrical involved in this change, therefore there is no electrical permit. Thanks! From: Brandon Lewis Sent: Friday, August 07, 2009 8:45 AM To: Reid Goforth Subject: gas line inspection Reid, We have a commercial building in the Lake Norman area (Doors By Nalley) that has existing gas heaters and gas lines to them. They are going from propane to natural gas and had Bob's Heating and Air out of Lincolnton change the orifices in the two existing unit heaters. Now Piedmont Natural Gas will not connect until we approve and sticker. Question: What do we require for permits and inspections on something like this?
