Dear James,
Thank you for helping with the review of this project. We have addressed each of your concerns or
questions and have revised drawings when required to do so.
Building Review
1. The Appendix B indicated O Taylor and Viola provided structural engineering. They are helping
with a letter but have not pr . p ' ided drawings in this submittal so I have taken their name and
information off the Append" !B. A letter has been prepared by Taylor and Viola to verify roof
loads of the two new roof t "IIVAC units and will be provided to your office by the owner.
2. See revised sheet A2 addresog the lag bolt connection to the existing masonry wall. The
calculations indicate that the structure, anchorage and support by the existing masonry wall is
adequate for the required ce ng load. It has not been calculated to support storage.
3. A readily visible approved n will be posted indicating that the new ceiling shall not be used for
storage.
4. See revised sheet TI showi ' that the project is Mixed Use. Primary occupancy is Business and
secondary occupancy is S I rage. These would be non - separated mixed uses.
5. See revised sheet T1 showir4 that the corrected construction type for this project is Type II -B.
6. See revised sheet T1 showir the correct minimum number of required exits.
7. See revised sheet TI showir4 the correct required number of plumbing fixtures.
8. The project will be designed'so as not to have a laundry room over 100 sq. ft. or the washer and
dryers will be placed elsewhere.

9. Guards will not be required on this project. The units are 11 plus from the edge of the roof. F
10. The owner will make sure t ._ a t the exit signs and egress illumination are done properly and is
aware that these will be verited in the field
