RE: Sunbelt Furniture Xpress, Inc.
Dear Sirs:
Please find enclosed revised drawings for the above referenced project. These drawings
reflect changes as you requested and noted in your review letter of 6/9/11.
Item #1 Shall comply with response in order of review.
Item #2 Will comply with signing and dating the drawings.
Item 43 Complete electrical drawings are being submitted.
Item #4 Door and hardware schedule is noted on drawing as reusing existing
hardware. Existing doors are 3'x7' fire rated with panic hardware.
Item 45 Life Safety Plan is included showing distances to required exits. See
distances marked on A -1.
Item 46 Area of Rescue Assistance protection as per Code Section 1007.3
exception 2 is not required at an exterior unenclosed exit way.
Item #7 NCECC section 502.2, 502.2.2 & 502.2.2.1 is complied with as roof is R-
13, walls are not insulated and doors are U -1.45 for overhead doors and
U =0.70 for swinging doors. The building is not heated or cooled. Energy
efficient lighting used throughout.
Item #8 Electrical equipment is being protected by a 3' x 4' painted hatched area on
the floor in front of new electrical panel as in existing building.
Item #9 A letter or drawings will be provided by the metal building manufacturer
signed, sealed and dated by a NC licensed engineer.
