Dear Sirs:
This letter is to certify that the building addition for Dalco Nonwovens in Conover, N.C. is not for the
purpose of adding employees. Our operation is highly automated and does not require large numbers of
employees. Our present facility has become overcrowded and we need other types of equipment and
space for in- process inventory. We will continue to use our present level of employees. We have a total of
32 employees for two shifts with the maximum number for the first shift being 20 employees.
Since production space is such a premium for our operation, we do not want to devote additional space in
the new addition for more toilets since the present facilities are adequate for the present employees. We
request that you allow us to use section 403.5.2 of the North Carolina Plumbing Code 2009 Edition, to
adjust the number of required additional toilets in the new production space. Thank you in advance for
your consideration of our request.
