Re: Well Violation at 4609 35 Street Place NE
Dear Sir:
During a recent investigation it was observed that a well located at the�address above is in violation of
North Carolina well construction standards. You are listed as the owner of this property. The current
condition of the well presents a possible safety hazard as well as a source of contamination for
groundwater.
The following conditions were observed:
o Concrete well tile lid is cracked and partially missing.
To avoid further notification and potential legal action, you must bring the well into compliance within
30 days, by one of the following actions in accordance with North Carolina Well Construction Standards,
15A NCAC 2C .0100:
• Replace with new concrete lid.
