Re: Structural inspection for Exxon Station
At HWY 16 and Balls Creek Road
Attention: Building Inspector
Dear Sir,
This inspection was made to determine the structural integrity of the beam and columns to support the
ceiling loads at the above referenced building.
The 4 "x 6' beam should be supported by a 4x4 column at a spacing no more than 6 feet apart- The column
should be attached to the beam and the floor as shown on the attached detail. This repair will satisfy the
requirements of the North Carolina State Building Code.
Please advise if additional information is required.
