Hello Kenny,
I understand that there has been some question on the false dormer on the above mentioned
project.
This is just an over - framed section that could structurally be compared to valley sets. The
other term that applies to this situation is deadwood framing. This is in no way compromising
the integrity of the trusses it sits upon. The loading for the trusses on which it sits, has been
engineered to accommodate the extra weight of this dormer.
