Dear Teresa,
Confirming our conversation today, this letter is being sent to inform you that the above mentioned
permit number is no longer needed. As I had mentioned, the permit was pulled /requested for a home
that was to be built by C &S Construction, for Stokes & Stokes LLC back in June 2008. Unfortunately the
project has been terminated due to a serious illness, suffered by the owner.
Please be advised there was no work performed, nor were there any inspections for the address listed on
the permit (1593 Berkshire Drive). Therein a possibility in the future that C &S Construction, will serve as
the general contractor, at that time we will reapply for a new permit
Please credit the $1,278.23 that is showing delinquent, and do not revoke our privileges for future
permits. We understand there will be an administration fee of $26.00 associated with this situation, in
which we will gladly remit payment upon receipt of the invoice. It is our understanding this letter shall
stop any legal action or filings from occurring.
In closing we would like to apologize for the delayed response to your letters, unfortunately, we did not
receive them until this week due to an incorrect address in your system which was not updated as
previously requested. Please mail future correspondence to the address listed above.
Thank you in advance for your efforts and understanding, concerning this matter.
