This letter is written to address the structural capacity of
the Mid Level Floor, floor system for the addition of 1-12 " of
peagravel fiberglass reinforced concrete topping to be added
to this floor level.
Total load Live =100lbs sq. ft.
Dead = 23lbs concrete and floorsystem
total load =123lbs sq. ft.
Floor joist= existing 2x8 rough sawn @ 19"to 24" o.c. with a
span of 9"-10". Added *2Y.P. 2x8 between existing joist.
2x8 #2 Y.P. @ 12"o.c. with a load of 1231b. sq. ft. will span
lot-ofl.
Floor joist = existing 2x8 rough sawn @ 19 to 24" o.c. with
a span of 5'=10".
These joist will span 7'-0' with required loading.
Steel Beam- Loading is 15,129 lb. W8xl7 with a span will carry
17,400 lb.
W8x15 with a span of 13'-0" will carry 14,500113. This actual.
loading is 11,531 1b.
The floor system is approved to carry the required loading with
the 11" concrete topping for the Mid Level Floor.
