F&R was on site to conduct an evaluation of the foundation subgrade and was requested to document the steel reinforcement placed in the perimeter foundation excavations at that time. We observed three missing wire ties and improper clearance of the steel reinforcement at one pier location, which was corrected in our presence. We noted that the foundation sizes, depths, and steel reinforcement sizes and spacing were as shown on Sheet No. 4, entitled Foundation Plan, by Building Systems of Catawba County, Inc. and dated August 28, 2003, We trust the information contained herein is sufficient for your needs at this time.
