The F&R technician arrived on -site as requested by Mr. Steve Hymel of Moss -Marlow to re-
evaluate the foundation subgrade due to rain last night, as directed by his building inspector,
Hand probing of the ten excavated pier footings revealed firm soil conditions, The F&R
technician performed two Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests, and discussed the results
with M. Sloan of F&R. Based on the results of the DCP testing and the in -place density test
results previously obtained by F&R on the fill placement, the near surface soils evaluated are
suitable for support of the foundations designed for an allowable net hearing pressure of 2,000
pounds per square foot at the locations tested,
