Dear Reverend Reese,
The City of Hickory's Land Development Code requires that churches provide 0.3 parking
spaces per seat. The Lighthouse Family Worship Center provides nine (9) parking spaces on
its site at 3230 Highland Avenue. Therefore, the occupancy of this church must be limited to
twenty-seven (27) people.
If triore than 27 people attend the church, additional paved and landscaped parking spaces
shall be added, at the rate of 03 parking spaces per one (1) seat added. If more parking
spaces need to be added than can fit onto the property, off -site parking may be allowed only
with a signed parking agreement from an adjacent property -owner. Such additional parking
shall be In compliance with the City of Hickory Land F)evelopment Code.
