In accordance with our telephone conversation today, September 8, 2003 please be advised that I
supervised the excavation of questionable soils, the placemert of stone backfdl and the raking and
tamping of the stone. I also witnessed the forms for the concrete footings and the placing of the
reinforcing bars in the footings. This
was
on State of North gCarolina.e totcontractor, which I sealed
as a Professional Engineer, register
I do accept the responsible for the design of the footings in the areas of concern and as shown on
the drawing attached. Those areas shown as conventional footings were not included in my
