On 3/ l 4/03 Rick Bowman did a final HVAC inspection on above project. His only discrepancy
note was to install emergency shutdown switches on the wall beside the thermostat (see attached
copy). We have an emergency shutoff• switch for each unit in the HVAC room on the back side
of wall with thermostats (See copy of Electrical Drawing that shows location,) This was shown
on the final set of design drawings by Dennis Rom'
nger that you approved.
J have reviewed this item with both George Brown (HVAC designer) and Dennis Rominger
(electrical designer). Neither are aware of any code requirement that would require these emer-
gency switches to be mounted beside the thermostats for this type project.
Please review this information I need to discuss this with you to get clarification for the parties
involved with construction/design.
