I'm drafting a legal notice to publish on the above - referenced property. According to the Statutes, we are required to
publish the ad once a week for three consecutive weeks. We are then required to allow the defendant 40 days to file an
answer to our complaint before we proceed. If the defendant fails to do so, we'll schedule a court date for a default
hearing. At that point, we will need to get bids for a clean -up. We will end up having several hundred dollars ($300 -
$500) in the legal ad and miscellaneous court costs, so I'm hoping the clean -up will not be too expensive. The property
is only valued at $6,200.
