Comments: Propety owner installed a temp. silt fence along the roadway and toe of bank. They used the silt fence with the wooden stakes which is temp. until they can install the more perm. one with the wire backing & steel post. I stressed to the property owner to check the silt fence regularly since they didn't trench in the fence. The heavy rains might wash the dirt they put on the bottom of the fence allowing the sediment & mud to undermine the fence.
