Dear Mr. McClellan:
on Monday October 13, 2008 Kim Sue, Catawba County Code Compliance Technician,
myself, and Stever Bailey made a site inspection to view progress on stabilizing Key
Harbor. While some areas have been stabilized, there is an entire stretch of "road" that
has been missed Notice was giving on September 30, 2008 that if the site was not
stabilized by November 15, 2008 a fine would be assessed. Attached is the Fine
Assessment Wc for the project, indicating that $8,750.00 in Civil Penalties is
owed to Catawba County. The penalty may be paid to the County or the violation must
be rectified within 30 days to avoid legal action.
