Dear Mr. and Mrs. Roediger
This letter will serve as official notification that you are in violation of the Catawba County Code
of Ordinances pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A -123. The Catawba County
Compliance Technician previously advised you that you are in violation of Section 31- 5(a)(b)(d)
of the Catawba County Code which outlines mandatory standards for land - disturbing activity and
Section 31 -21, as it pertains to restoration after noncompliance at the above- referenced location.
Violations of the Code sections may subject the violator to civil and criminal sanctions.
If you have not remedied this illegal condition by Wednesday, October 29, 2008, I will have no
recourse but to take legal action to correct the problem. In the course of this legal action, you
could incur additional expenses including, but not limited to, attorney fees and court costs.
