Furniture called and wanted to know what the County policy was on trucks that set up along the side of the road and sold furniture. He said he knew Newton didn't allow it because he had them run out of Newton. (There is currently a truck at Witherspoons Crossroads across from the Country Market.) His beef is that these people don't pay any taxes, etc. and he has to pay taxes, abide by fire code, etc. Do we have any regulations against this type of business, require any license, etc.? I told Mr. McGee we'd check into it and give him a call back .... and I'm looking for a volunteer to call him back! — 466- 2466 Thanks!
