Dear Mr. and Ms. Barger:
This letter will serve as official notification that you are in violation of the Catawba County Code
Ordinances pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A -123.
The Catawba County Code Enforcement Officer has previously advised you that you are in
violation of Section 44 -807 of the Catawba County Code, as it pertains to the regulation and
removal of junked motor vehicles and Section 44 -318 as it pertains to zoning authorization
permits.
You have failed to comply with previous notices from the Catawba County Planning & Zoning
Office to correct this situation. The matter has now been referred to my office for resolution.
Violations of the Catawba County Code may subject the violator to civil and criminal sanctions.
If you have not remedied this illegal condition by Thursday, March 19, 2009 I will have no
recourse but to take legal action to correct the problem. In the course of this legal action, you
will incur additional expenses.
