Between the time the permit expired and the permit was reissued, the UDO became active and the previously approved manufactured home was no longer eligible for approval from zoning. The applicant brought in copies of receipts that indicate work had begun on the project in the form or grading and digging of footings for the home. The dates on the receipts were prior to the expiration date of the original permit. This shows that work did begin on the project within 6 months of the issuance of the permit, and the original permit should not have been expired. According to the previous conversation with Mary George, if the building permit did not expire, then the zoning permit did not expire. The owner may continue the project as approved with the original application. The owner will be reimbursed for the reissuance fee that was recently charged. Thanks! C c o2C11,
