Dear Mr. Benfield:
This letter will serve as official notification that you are in violation of the Catawba County Code
of Ordinances pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A -123.
The Catawba County Code Compliance Technician previously advised you to remove solid
waste materials from the property at the above - referenced location. The storage of solid waste is
in violation of the Catawba County Code Section 32 -6. Violations of the Code Sections may
subject the violator to civil and criminal sanctions.
If you have not remedied this illegal condition by Wednesday, April 1, 2009, I will have no
recourse but to take legal action to correct the problem. In the course of this legal action, you
could incur additional expenses including, but not limited to, attorney fees and court costs.
