-Existing System installed in 1995 and 1996 over three installs. See Catawba Co permit 8301 and the other two unnumbered permits.
-Deck must be cantilevered with overhang so the post will meet the 5-foot setback to the first drain line. The upper edge of the first trench was
located and flagged with the contractor present.
-During this investigation only the 8 gravel trenches were found. The two 25%reduction trenches on the lake side could not be found by
probing.
-The detached garage footprint was expanded sometime after 2002 and the original deck footprint was expanded sometime after 2010.It is
unknown if building permits were obtained for this or not.
-This inspection does not guarantee the longevity of the existing system.
