General Notes 1) Along with this letter responding to comments the revisions to the plans have been clouded. In response to the comments from the Hickory Fire Review—Thomas Raper (Swimming Pool) Review by Thomas Raper 1) Both sets of responses are in this one letter. 2) All pool fence gates swing out. 3) A note has been added for the contractor to provide and post the appropriate NFPA 704 and room signage on the chemical/mechanical room doors. 4) The owner will be advised to obtain a Knox Box and mount it in a location approved by the fire official. General Comments 1) Approved emergency signage and 911 phone to be provided. 2) Street numbers have now been shown on an exterior elevation. 3) Fire extinguisher will be installed by the owner in the locations shown on the plans. 4) Owner will notify the contractor that the work area will be secured during construction. 5) The owner will be advised to maintain free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in case of fire or other emergency at all exit accesses, exits and exit discharges. 6) Occupant load signs will be installed in every room that is an assembly occupancy In response the comments from the Hickory Fire Review—Thomas Raper(Building Alteration) Review by Thomas Raper 1) The building is now classified as A-3. 2) Occupant load calculation has been corrected. 3) A remote second exit has been added. 4) A second outward swinging door with panic hardware has been added. 5) Exit signs have been shown on all exterior doors see electrical. 6) All pool gates are now shown as swinging out and notes have been added regarding panic hardware. Fence details have also been added. 7) Appropriate room signage will be posted on the chemical/mechanical room doors. 8) Owner will be ordering the Knox Box.
