Dear Stan:
The following is in response to a plan review dated October 21, 2010, concerning exhaust hood requirements for the new gas -fired
appliances:
A new Type 11 exhaust hood will be installed above the two (2) new gas -fired cookers. Make -up air will be provided by the
existing roof mounted energy recovery ventilator, which is presently supplying approximated 1,240 cfm of tempered outside
air to the space where the new cookers are located. Or, a make -up air fan will be included with the exhaust hood/fan to
provide make -up air to the hood.
