But with the way it was handled by management and all so be it.. We all went to texas roadhouse tonight for a birthday dinner. Everything was going super great. Good, speedy service and had a very friendly waiter. We all order our drinks and started off with Cesar salads. After our waiter came back with all 5 Cesar salads we started eating them and one of us gasps and see a whole COCKROACH IN THEIR CESAR SALAD. Of course we all were calm and I immediately waved our waiter down and asked for the manager, even showing him this cockroach! He took it without hesitation and apologized. We waited over 20 minutes for the manager to come. Before she did our waiter came back apologizing to us again and took all our salad plates. He then proceeded to tell us they haven't had a chance to wash their lettuce today, they had complaints of their lettuce tasting funny and how he's worked there for 8 months and has never had an issue.... UH OKAY WHAT??!! So y'all are still continuing to serve DIRTY CROCKROACH INFESTED SALADS?! THEN PROCEEDED TO PASS OUT OUR ENTREES ALL BEFORE THE MANAGER CAME TO US. Well finally the manager came by and literally acted like it was no big deal just told us oops sorry that happen. Y'all want anything else. No mmkay, well sorry about that.. They didn't wash the lettuce today and she told us she would discount the salads off all our bills. Mind you that was only $3.99... and just straight up walked away and we never seen her for the rest of our visit. Didn't say or do anything else about it. We couldn't even eat our entrees after that with the concern that we would find more in our food. We were all sick to our stomachs and just asked for a check to see how much they would charge us if anything and while we reviewed our tickets our waiter waited right there to make sure we paid... So by the end we all paid 20- 40 dollars for dirty bug infested food we didn't even eat. We literally was just trying to get outta there at this point. Two of our girls are pregnant and it was a concern for us! We will no longer be eating at texas roadhouse in hickory! 49•"•fri.
