Dear Mr. Hinkle:
This letter is in reference to the Review Comments for the above mentioned project. Please note that we have
made the requested revisions from your review.
Building Comments Reviewer: Jeff Hinkle
1. Sheet A100. Provide layout of sales area.
Fixture layout is by Tenant and shall comply with applicable accessibility requirements.
2. Sheet A100. Provide a one hour fire rated separation between the sales floor and storage area per
Table 508.2 of the NCBC. The storage room exceeds 10% for accessory use per section 508.3.1 of the
NCBC. Provide an approved "UL" wall design and head of wall detail.
Stock Room has been reduced in size and exit signs eliminated.
3. Sheet A100. Egress thru the storage room shall meet the requirements of section 1014.2 note 2
exception of the NCBC.

4. Sheet P3. Coordinate the gas line size between the gas piping plan and the key plan.

5. Sheet M1. Provide permanent roof access per section 306.5 of the NCMC. Roof exceeds 16 feet in
height per the appendix "B" code summery sheet.
Building has existing roof access ladder on opposite side of building.
6. Sheet M1. Provide duct smoke detectors in both units per section 606.2.2 of the NCMC.
