Dear Sir:
1) We are in receipt of you review notes and are replying to them in sequence as was noted and
directed.
2) The exit width area per occupant for the factory space has been corrected on sht 1C.0.
3) The thermal zone for this area has been corrected to be zone 4, as reflected on sht. 1C.0.
4) The dimension for the firewall extension beyond the building on the West side has been noted. See
sheet 1.0.
5) The details for the handicap ramp, for exit #2 has been developed as reflected on Slit. 1.0.
6) All required exit doors are accessible from grade, including door #2 by means of a he accessible ramp.
Door 11 is not a required exit and will not be modified with a ramp.
7) We have included two additional sheets in the submittal with the complete UL Designs used for the
respective fire walls. See sheets 1 C.1 and 1 C.2.
8) Door #21 is not a 3 hour rated roll -up door, but rather an exterior sectional door. Corrections have
been made on sheet 1.0 and 1.1.
9) New door # 27 has been added to the door schedule.
10) Dimensions for the offices and toilet, etc. have been added to the drawing on sht. 1.0.
11) The door schedule and floor plan has been reviewed and coordinated correctly.
12) The dimension of the masonry fire wall extension, between the existing building and the addition, has
been noted on sht. # 1.0.
13) We have searched extensively, with the help of the Underwriter's Laboratory, US Gypsum and the
MBMA, without success. Per your direction we have included a detail very near to what is needed on
Slit. 1 C.2, and modified to reflect 3 /4 inch dywall on each side of the wall to comply with the three hour
requirement.
