Third Review
James,
Thank you for your patience reviewing this project. Hopefully we have all that
you need now.
1. James, I have always assumed that the existing building's fire wall was much
higher than what the new building connector would be, however, when I went to
verify as you asked, it turns out that the new roof is only 2" lower than the
existing. We are proposing to extend the existing firewall up an additional 30"
so as to meet the requirements of Section 705.6.1.
2. We have included all the design loads for the structural part of Appendix B of the
High Bay Warehouse as requested. They have been signed and sealed by the
North Carolina engineer designing the High bay structure.
3. Please find enclosed the filled out information on page 3 of 3 on the Statement of
Special Inspections.
