Parts Provided: j A) Fire rated enclosure with intumescent material B) 3M PPD Ring — installed C) 3" PVC Pipe — approximately 12" long D) Air Duct reducer — attached to PVC Pipe 2. Take the 3" PVP Pipe (C) with the air duct reducer facing left and place it inside the fire rated enclosure (A) and gently run it through the 3M PPD Ring (B) and through the enclosure opening. Be sure to slide it through carefully so you don't damage the intumescent material inside the 3M PPD Ring. 3. Place enclosure on work bench with the opening facing up to be able to affix the exhaust fan to the enclosure on two sides by using four tek screws. 4. To secure exhaust fan firmly to two sides, bend in the extended mounting bracket to be flush against the exhaust fan. 5. Prior to mounting, tap out hole on back of enclosure (A). 6. Prior to mounting, run electrical wire from exhaust fan through tap out hole. 7. Mount the exhaust fan to the enclosure (A) on two sides using the four tek screws. 8. Assemble exhaust fan per product instructions. Once assembly is complete, slide air duct reducer over exhaust fan duct connector until it fits flush. 9. Close 3M PPD Ring (B) by locking and securing per 3M instructions 10. Secure duck work to 3" PVC Pipe (C) outside opening. (Installation instructions may vary slightly depending on type of fan model and size being installed in enclosure.) 20777 kensington Blvd. www.ezbarrier.com Lakeville, MN 55044 Ph.952.985.8851 Fax 952.469.6565 Proudly made in the USA sales @ezbarrier.net CIE—= y Fire Rated Bathroom exhaust fans - e z Barrier Page 1 of 2 Home I Code Requirements I Cer4ifications I FACs Rep Groups I Credit App I Request Ouote I About Us I Contact Us T Fire Rated Bathroom exhaust fans I "Colo Fire -Rated Exhaust Fan /Light Enclosure - Bathroom.
