I visited the site earlier today and offer the following report. I was recently contacted by the owner that the septic alarm was activated. I visited the site on Wednesday, 9-14-22 and found that the effluent pump had been wired incorrectly and that the pump was no longer functioning. The owner made arrangements with 1st Choice Septic to have the septic tank pumped to allow enough volume for an even that was taking place on the 15tn I returned to the site earlier today and installed a new wastewater pump and had the electrician wire the pump and control panel correctly. The following was also observed. The pump has been run 991 times for a total of 225.21 hours. The time-dose control panel used for flow equalization is programmed for the pump to run 11 minutes each 8 hours, assuming there is enough effluent in the tank to start a dose cycle. Grease trap appears to be well maintained. Septic tank is now clean and clear. Effluent filter has been cleaned. Pump tank liquid contains no solids. Drainfield areas appear to be working well, with no signs of effluent on the surface. Drain field areas so no signs of erosion and are protected from vehicular traffic. System appears to be working as intended and the system was left in the "automatic"mode. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you.
