Dear Mr. Deitz:
The following is in response to your review letter on the above referenced project.
Item #11 proposed use shall be Factory (F1).
Response - The Cover Sheet proposed occupancy shows F1 for this item.
Item #12 Remove "preliminary" from drawing 3 of 3.
Response Drawing 3 of 3 has been revised to correct this item.
Item #13 Drawing 3 of 3 to be sealed, signed and dated.
Response Drawing 3 of 3 has been revised to correct this item.
Item #14 Provide large scale drawing of toilet room and show accessibility is met.
Response Drawing GC3.1 has been added for this purpose.
Item #15 Provide elevations of toilet fixtures and accessories to show accessibility is
met.
Response Drawing GC3.1 has been added for this purpose.
Item #16 Exits are required to be accessible at grade level.
Response - Sheet GC3 has one door swing reversed to allow accessible exit at
front of building. Sheet E3 removed exit signs from inaccessible
doors.
Item #17 Indicate tempered glass.
Response Sheet GC4 was revised for clarification of tempered glass.
Item #18 Provide elevation of reception window with dimensions.
Response Sheet GC4 was revised to show this detail.
Item #19 Add note for weep holes and flashing note to sheet GC5.
Response Sheet GC4 was revised to add this note.
Item #20 Water supply and sewer drainage schedules do not show process equipment.
Response Sheet P1 was revised to include this equipment.
Item #21 Sheet P1 has fixture trap and drain info not in 2009 NC code.
Response The table referenced was removed from P1 and Engineering Notes
were added as a revision to correct this item.
Item #22 Venting of drains incorrect. Wet venting has no table in code.
Response Engineering Notes were added to to indicate design approach for
these items.

Item #23 8" process waste line must be connected to sewer on P2.
Response Drawing P2 was revised to add precast lint interceptor and then
connection to city sewer. x
Item #24 Provide location of 20 HP boiler and show connections.
Response - Drawing P4 shows boiler location and process connections in room
121 which is part of the existing building.
Item #25 Provide interceptor on P2.
Response - Sheet P2 has been revised to show lint interceptor location.
Item #26 Verify the washers discharge thru air gap.
Response - Sheet P1 was revised to add Engineering Note for clarification of this
item.
Item #27 Verify the washer discharge water temperature is 140, degrees or less.
Response - Sheet P1 was revised to add Engineering Note for clarification of this
item.
Item #28 Add a schedule of gas utilization for process equipment.
Response - Sheet P4 was revised to add this schedule.
Item #29 Transformer "T1" not shown on sheet E2.
Response Sheet E2 was revised to add this transformer
