33) Sheet M6 - AHU -15 serves one area and the air distribution system is incapable of
spreading smoke beyond this area (per 2009 NCMC, Paragraph 606.2, Exception).
Therefore a smoke detector is not provided.
34) Sheet M6 - The outside air Louvers and/or Hoods and ductwork are capable of handling
15 CFM of outside air per person in the classrooms per 2009 NCMC, Table 403.3,
exception "J ".

35) Sheet M7 - Method of Compliance Form. This was moved to Sheet M8. The Zone 8 I
shown should have been Zone 4 per the 2009 Energy Conservation Code, however the
interior design conditions shown are in compliance and the exterior design conditions
are from the ASHRAE FUNDAMENTALS HANDBOOK.
