NC 127 Hwy Hickory, NC CE Dwg CAI 5857 CE Proj 100333 Dear Mr. Parish: It is our understanding that due to access issues you are unable to install the wood blocking as shown on the above referenced drawing. Based on our conversation we understand that the wood studs for the wall are located at approximately 24" o.c. With this understanding we recommend that angle frames be attached directly to the studs with 3/8" diameter lag screws, in lieu of the thru-bolts with wood blocking shown on the drawing. The screws shall be long enough to have a minimum embedment of 2" into the studs. Care should be used to make sure that bolts are close to the middle of the studs. i If you have any questions about this recommendation or if you need any additional information, please don't hesitate to call. 1 Sincerely, ~~itNlifttt~~~j CORNERSTONE ENGINEERING, INC.
