This appliance must be installed in accordance with the installation manual. When venting to a location
near a roof eave, the termination cap must meet the clearances listed in the manual. If the eave is not
sloping downwards, the cap must still meet the required clearances of 6" to the lowest point of the rafter
and 11" to the roof surface this is for unventilated soffits. This will not adversely affect vent
I performance.
