I'm telling you this so you can gauge for yourself how busy they may have been. I waited for a small amount of time before my order was taken by a young lady that I had suspicions may have been high. After paying for my order she refused to give me the cup for my drink, telling me I could get it at the end of the line. Not in itself a big deal, a little rude, but nbd. As I waited for my food I noticed the irritated expressions on the customers faces in front of me. 2 of the 3 men in front of me asked to speak with the manager. Still waiting for my cup another young lady asked me if I needed to see a manager. (should have been a clue) I told her I just needed my cup to which she told me to go back to the front of the line. She sighed and gave me a cup, obviously annoyed. I waited, and waited. As I was waiting I started noticing just how nasty everything was around me. The counter was filthy, old food was lying around, dirty rags lying beside food to be served. There were cups, plates, napkins, and general trash under all the equipment in the back. The soda counter had not been wiped down in a while. I walked to the dining room and noticed that EVERY SINGLE TABLE was dirty. At this point I was summ ervice counter to tell them what I h57A 1 New Comment ihen when I point I was summoned back to the service counter to tell them what I had ordered. It was then when I realized that half of what I ordered wasn't even on my receipt (remember the stoned cash register girl). I told them to forget my order as I had already been waiting for 20 minutes and I just wanted my money back. The manager took my card and refunded my money and told me that they had been busy since 3pm. I said, 'BUT ITS NASTY IN HERE, LOOK AROUND!' He asked the high cash register girl to wipe down the counters. I WILL NEVER go back to this restaurant. Such a shame because me and my family love the Lincolnton Bojangles and we were hoping due to its proximity to the best Bojangles around, the Denver Bojangles would be on par but it's not. Not. Even. Close. The health inspector needs to pay a surprise visit. Disgusting. Do not eat here.
