They have repaired the damaged section as you can see with fresh dirt in the photos. However, they have not installed any kind of erosion measures to stabilize the area at that time. The complainant also told me that they had cleared trees from the property without putting up measures. From the 2005 and 2009 aerials it appears that approximately 2 acres has been removed. The property in question is land-locked Parcel ID: 2687-02-68-9373 Owners Name: JOHN DAVEY TOWNSEND He lives at 7263 W NC 10 HWY Vale Please let me know how to proceed. Do I only ask them to install BMP measures on the outer wall of the pond? Can I require them to obtain an Erosion Permit for the trees that were removed - it doesn't appear to have permanent stabilization on the exposed soil around the pond. Let me know.
