RE: Trask Residence
To Whom it may Concern:
I have in place an Operation and Maintenance Agreement with the Mr. Bob Trask, 1421 Sweetbriar
Lane, Hickory, NC, Catawba County, for his LPP septic system. I performed the regularly scheduled
inspection on Thursday 12-1-22 and offer the following:
Ground cover around tanks is good. Risers are exposed above ground at a good level.
Mr. Trask had the septic tank pumped about a year ago: Inlet end has a scum layer building but is ok
for now. No solids visible in the outlet end.
Effluent filter was removed and cleaned.
Pump tank: Ran the pump in automatic mode. All 7 drain lines had pretty equal flow. Flushed lines
and adjusted pressure heads for matching flow.
Pump operated and did a noticeable draw down on the tank level. Alarm float sounded audio and
visual alarm.
Drainfield grass looks great with no noticeable signs of erosion or ponding. Surface waters are
being diverted around the drainfield area and all gutter drains are routed to take water away from
and around the tankage area.
