Dear Clara Coulboume,
The following is our response to building permit plan check review comments, dated 11/03/2009:
CORRECTIONS
Building Review
1. Sheet A2.0: The landing at the exit provided from the compressor room does not comply with
section 6.3.1 of the North Carolina Accessibility Code.
Response: Revised concrete walk at the exit provided from the compressor room #111 on
A2.0 show as "cloud delta 1".
2. Provide anchorage details for the tire storage racks. Provide verification that the tire storage racks
and anchorage methods comply with section 2208.1 of the 2009 NC Building Code.
Response: Storage rack plans as deferred submittal.
Mechanical Review:
1. Verify compliance with section 304.10 of the 2009 NC Mechanical Code.
Response: Roof parapet height is 4'-5" from cricket to top of parapet, so that complied with
section 304.10 of the 2009 NC Mechanical Code (42" minimum height). Please
see #21 / A5.1 and #23 / A5.1 shown as "cloud delta 1".
Plumbina Review:
1. Sheets P-1 and P-2: Provide the required pan and drain for the water heater per section 504.7 of
the 2009 NC Plumbing Code.
Response: Please see enclosed revised Plumbing plans shown as "'cloud delta V.
