Dear Mr. Rose:
The architectural portion of final working drawings dated (received October 29, 2009 ; fee paid
September 15, 2009) for the referenced project has been reviewed for conformance with licensure's
minimum standards for Hospitals (I OA NCAC 13B). The architectural portion of the drawings is
approved without comment.
A review of the plumbing, mechanical, and electrical drawings will follow from
Alex Harwell (919-855-3887). If those drawings are acceptable then final drawing approval will be
included in the Engineering review.
This project was reviewed with the understanding that the building was designed under the 2009 edition
of the NC State Building Codes as renovations within an existing not fully-sprinklered building of
Type I-A construction under Group I-2 occupancy. It was reviewed under NFPA 101 Chapter
18 New Health Care Occupancies as NFPA Type I (442) construction.
