In addition,clean clay dirt must be compacted in four inch intervals for the entire five feet. *The new septic system will require a traffic rated 1,000 gallon tank with metal manhole covers. *If the new tank location does not allow gravity flow to the first drain line, a pump will be required. *There shall be NO grading or filling around the outside of the proposed garage area. *Do NOT park or drive over any part of the septic drain field area. *Catawba County Environmental Health advised the applicant on April 20, 2016,that by using a repair exemption to build a garage, leaves no available space for future repair options. The applicant has been advised that this is not recommended. *The septic system installer shall be required to schedule a pre-construction meeting with Catawba County Environmental Health (828-320-3077) at least 3 business days prior to the construction of the system.
